Happy Anniversary, My Love!

Seven years ago I married my best friend! I thought I loved him then, and had no idea how much more I would grow to love him! I have loved spending the last seven years with him and can't wait for many more!

Our Majestic Cruise!

For those of you that don't know, I was born on my grandfather's fiftieth birthday. Then nine years later I had a cousin born on our birthday! This upcoming September my grandfather is turning 80, I am turning 30, and my cousin is turning 21. My grandfather decided to take the whole family (all 22 of us) on a birthday trip since we were all turning a "big" number! We had so much fun! Look and see for yourself!Brent and I had never been on a cruise, and we were definitely
spoiled by being on the Majesty of the Seas as our first one!Drew, Chandra and T while we are docked in Miami
There were stairs everywhere...which was very stressful and frustrating for all of us!
We did manage to find one deck that C could roam around on without falling off or wanting to climb stairs. It was the deck where the walking track was.....he could run til his legs fell off...
but when he got tired he would hang on to us by walking in between our legs....
my mom thought it was hysterical
This is one of the few pics I have of us three
Dad, Grandad, Marj, Drew, me, C and B
Our first stop was NassauWalking around in Nassau
The Thompson Fam!
You can tell from the sweat on B's shirt that it was HOT!

The next couple of pics are from the Captain's Dinner

We had great seats at dinner.
The kids could play after they were finished eating
in the middle of our three tables.
Grandad and Marj
We had to be creative to keep Caden entertained. He did love the shows each night. This is one night after a show. He is peeping around the stairs playing peek-a-boo with Drew.

Our next stop was Cococay, Bahamas
This is an island that is privately owened by Royal Carribean.
This was Caden's first trip to a beach....
he wasn't so sure about the sand!

AFter dinner each night, before we went to the shows, we would go to the main floor where the band would play. Caden loved dancing right in front of the band, and we all got a kick out of watching him! I'm not sure where he gets his love of dancing....definitely not from me! Our last stop was in Key West. My dad, brothers, and Brent chartered a boat for a deep-sea fishing trip. They had fun and caught some fish too!

This is all 22 of us on our last night at dinner Our flight home didn't fly out until around 4 so we had several hours to hang out at the airport! All four of the kiddos did pretty well....they were so fun to watch interact with each other. Here they are looking for airplanes!
Caden did pretty well on both flights considering he had never flown before.
Thanks Grandad and Marj for a very special trip!!! We had a blast!

June

We have been enjoying our summer to the fullest!!!
We just got back from a great vacation cruise with my whole family....pics coming soon!
But for now, I'll catch you up on what we have been doing! I can't believe the summer is halfway over! My little man and I have had so much fun hanging out together! We have been super busy....So, I'll catch you up on what we did during the month of June!
we (when I say we I mean Brent) put in a flagstone back patio
Caden was in charge of the sand

we helped Daddy mow the yard

we have stayed nice in cool in nonna and grandpa's pool
and the Eastland water park with our friends

we walked our dogs... real and fake
We jumped until our legs hurt at the jump around while celebrating Grayson's 4th birthday
We have played in the yard with our sprinkler

And on those days when it is too hot to play outside,
we go to the mall with our friends and play at the inside playground

Caden had a ball dancing it up with his friend
Kamryn at her Uncle Dave's wedding!
He loved being out in the middle of the circle and watching everyone dance!
He did get stepped on once.
And we ended June with a surgery...
Caden had tubes put in his ears.
We are so thankful everything went well,
and hopefully we will have a happier, pain free, little boy!
